Head of Marketing

 Job Purpose:

    This position will be responsible for all the marketing activities and marketing planning, across the scope of branding, media relations, client communications and corporate events, sponsorship and advertising that will build up the corporate image of the firm and ensure the market position of Kaspersky as a top-tier in the anti-virus protection in South-East Asian region.

 Main Responsibilities:

  • Create superior quality marketing and promotional materials for the interface with customers in-house and externally. Maintain consistent corporate image for all marketing materials, reporting, client communications.
  • Plan and implement the advertising, promotion campaigns, event campaigns to enhance Kaspersky branding
  • Manage various communications tools to maximize brand awareness
  • Create, execute and analyse the effectiveness of a strategic marketing plan. Ensure products have appropriate marketing collateral and brochure ware. Ensure multi-lingual capabilities within regions.
  • Work with APAC/HQ segment marketing, product marketing and partner marketing to ensure the overall marketing plan is appropriate, adequate and effective and to be in line with the overall business strategy for South-East Asian region and the customers/partners requirements
  • Be an marketing expert, understand the market dynamics, sales priorities and the most effective marketing techniques which can help passing the messages to reach the appropriate audiences
  • Plan and execute direct and partner marketing activities so as to generate demand and enable the partner's marketing teams to achieve their full potential
  • Oversee the channel marketing expenses & activities in conjunction with the channel marketing personnel to ensure the resources are allocated in line with the business strategy
  • Create compelling channel programs to push/pull product sales to achieve business plan goals
  • Collaborate with channel marketing on partner programs, goals and target markets
  • Coordinate quarterly product prioritization process with Product Specialists, Investment Delivery and Senior Management.
  • Manage press events in coordination with Kaspersky Lab Corporate Communications.
  • Identify and analyse actionable insights in the different product segments and for all communication platforms (internet, newspapers, polls etc).
  • Overseeing Kaspersky e-business
  • Plan and carry out direct marketing activities (principally direct mail) to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
  • Manage the external marketing agency activity that includes telemarketing and research.
  • Manage the external public relations agency and work closely with the Regional Marketing Director, APAC and HQ corporate marketing team to identify the content and trends that can effectively build the profile and reputation of Kaspersky Lab

 Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience preferably gained in MNCs with the similar job scopes
  • Should have a degree in Marketing, Advertising or related and preferably an MBA degree
  • Understanding of IT Securities products and market is preferable
  • Must possess keen organizational and analytical skills Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Knowing Mandarin will be a plus point
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
